Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Urges Youth to Lead India Towards Developed Nation
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta urged youth during the Tiranga Yatra in New Delhi to honour freedom fighters’ sacrifices and pledge to strengthen India and help the country emerge as a developed nation.
Speaking at the gathering, Gupta said the freedom enjoyed by citizens today was the result of the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters who dedicated their lives to the country’s freedom.
Recalling the contributions of Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Rani Lakshmibai and other freedom fighters, the Delhi Chief Minister said they had devoted their lives to securing India’s freedom.
Gupta urged the youth to take a pledge while holding the Tricolour to work towards strengthening the country and helping India emerge as a developed nation.
The event was attended by Nitin Nabin, Union Minister of State, Delhi BJP president Harsh Malhotra and Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood.
The Chief Minister’s appeal placed the youth at the centre of the responsibility to strengthen the country and contribute towards India’s journey to becoming a developed nation.
